Swimming Lessons

Big Girl Shoes

It was a big day for the Kok family- Lauren got fitted for her first walking shoes!

She loved her new shoes so much she wore them right out of the store. They look so cute on her and they actually stay on. She seems so grown up in them.

Lauren got this fun bubble set from one of my students and she's been enjoying it. The only problem is she prefers to have all 3 wands in her possesion at all times, so in order to do that one must be in her mouth! We were laughing pretty hard at this silly girl!

Bubbles are fun!

She also loves that the bubble holder doubles as a purse. Lauren already appears to have a "girly" side, which mamma is quite happy about!

Brave Girl

Lauren doesn't seem to take after mom in this department, she loves climbing up into her bouncy seat and standing on it. She's fallen off a few times but that doesn't stop her, right back up she goes! She's a wild one!

I love you Dad!

Lauren enjoyed giving Daddy his very deserved gifts.

She did not want to give him the phone though, I love this look, it's like she's already a teenager.

She decided to share the phone with him so they could call Opa and wish him a happy Father's Day too!

Her new Monkey- Mimi

Oma hand picked this wonderful new toy for Lauren in Las Vegas. It makes the most obnoxious monkey sound you've ever heard- but it makes Lauren laugh so we're letting her keep it!

Silly Girl

Lauren is quite the playful gal these days. She loves trying to put things on her head!

Mom's new summer hat (isn't it cute!) is her latest favorite toy!

Finally got it on!

She entertained herself for quite awhile trying to get her laundry bag on her head. She has also been into wrapping cords around her neck- we don't have any pictures of that though because we are too busy trying to unravel her so she can breathe!

Her favorite new toy!

Lauren got all sorts of great new toys for her 1st birthday, but what is her most favorite thing to play with? The box from her big girl carseat of course! I think I'm going to open a place where there are tons of big boxes for kids to play in, I bet I'd make a fortune!
