Fun visit

We got a fun surprise after Christmas- the Prentice family came to visit from CA! We've all been having fun hanging out and the kids are in heaven!!

Dec 26th

 The day after Christmas Lauren & Ben stayed home with Oma & Opa while Kevin and I got to go running and out for coffee. They had fun building their new lego sets with them.

 Later we decided to go ice skating. 

 It started out completely disastrous. Both kids in tears and freaking out. They were out of these little push things and neither of them could stand on the ice without them. We finally were able to snag one and it made a world of difference. 

 Still took Ben some time to warm up- even with the pushy thing (that's the official name of them- I'm sure of it). 

 Finally having fun about 1/2 through the skating session. 

 Lauren really got into and had fun. She even skated on her own at the end.

 We went out to dinner afterwards and Ben fell asleep- skating is hard work. So is crying...

Movie time before bed! Such a fun way to spend the day after Christmas! 

Christmas Day!

 Lauren got a lot of clothes and she was thrilled!

 Lightning McQueen Hawk- believe it or not, this is his excited face. The boy is so serious when he's excited, it's pretty funny.

 After we were done at our house we headed to Ryan & Megan's for a fabulous brunch and of course...more presents:) 

 Carson was so tired from all the excitement. Lucky me, I got to cuddle with him:) 

 After all the morning fun we headed to Bellingham for round 3 of Christmas! 

 The kids had fun looking at all the gifts under the tree to see what was for them. 

 Lauren was thrilled to find the biggest box was hers. 

 A bitty baby doll carrier- just what she wanted- so exciting!!

 Later that night cousin Zoe came over for a visit- Lauren loves her and had so much fun doing puzzles, coloring, and just playing with her. 

 Playing Hex bugs with Opa. We all got a kick out of the bugs, they are actually pretty entertaining toys!

 Before bed Lauren read us all, "The Night Before Christmas", it's her favorite holiday book and she loves reading it aloud.

Ben was a bit jealous of all the attention Lauren was getting for reading so he decided to show us his nipples...what a weirdo! Had to snap a pic though:) 

What a fabulous Christmas, we feel so lucky to get to spend time with everyone! 

Christmas Eve

 The kids were super excited to exchange the gifts they got each other on Christmas Eve...a little tradition of theirs. 

 Yahoo! Just what she wanted!!

 Car stuff- yay!

 Then at night Nana & Pa and Ryan, Carson, & Hads came over for dinner (auntie Meg had to work). Nana played video games with  Ben and he was thrilled!

 Then Carson ran and got a remote control so he could play too (we all were laughing so hard, the remote was to a car, not the video game, but pretty cute that he tried!). He totally thought he was driving the car in the video game, it was hilarious!

Pre Christmas Fun

 Nana & Pa took the kids to see Elf on 5th Avenue. They had a great time! 

 While the kids were at the theater Kevin & I got a little lunch in with these guys (Aimee was there too!). So fun to see sweet little Vianne and her parents.

Candy Cane kept up his mischievous ways and got into our cookies while we slept:)
