Ben is 6!

On Friday we celebrated this awesome 6 year old!

He was excited to get a basketball and he was pretty cute with all his new shirts...love how he set them out.
This has been the biggest hit- he LOVES his new foosball table and has been playing with it non stop.
His new black big kid bike was a huge hit as well- he's pretty excited to have a bike with gears.
He requested pancakes with whip cream and strawberries.
We were invited to a birthday party on Ben's actual birthday! The kids got to go see How To Train Your Dragon and have treats at the mall.

Later in the day we tested out the new wheels- Ben LOVED shifting the gears.
He shifted pretty much non stop;)

 Cutest bike rider ever!
After our bike ride we went to a cute ice cream shop in Snohomish for a treat.
Then we went up to the boat to have dinner with Carson, Hadley, Nana, & Pa.
 Ben got the LEGO movie!!

Nana & Pa took us out to Scuttlebutt for a fun dinner and Ben got this big dessert! Lucky kid!

Ben's Soccer Birthday Party

Ben wanted a soccer party this year and we lucked out with awesome weather!
Lucky for Ben, Kevin was his soccer coach so he and Coach Matt got to coach the soccer party!
Ben had a blast, it was so fun watching him play with all his buddies!

These kids have skills! They were all trying so hard and played a good game.
 The crew!

Such a fun day celebrating our favorite 6 year old!!

Sunday Fun

Carson & Ben had fun in their World Cup attire.
Love the way Carson is looking at Ben- he thinks he is the coolest.
 "GOAL!"
We had some fun with the sidewalk chalk tonight.

Ben wrote this one for me:)

Lovin' these sunny summer nights!!!

Lauren went to a fun swim party!

1st day of summer break!

We were so lucky to have a beautiful sunny day on our first day off of school.
We had fun playing at the new park and just enjoying not being on a schedule!

Had to cool off with some Menchies! So excited for summer!!

End of School Events

Lauren's class had a week at "camp" and it was the cutest thing ever. They had cabins and brought blankets and pillows. We sent them camp mail and they wrote us back, made camp journals, "roasted" marshmallows and did all sorts of camp activities in class for the week. Such a fun idea!
Ben's class had a little performance where they sang us some songs and read us their animal reports. His report was about owls.
Every year the school participates in the Aquasox Read-a-Thon and the kids get free tickets to the game. Ben was really into it this year and was so proud of his "free"ticket.
 Ben's teacher, Miss McEwen.
 Lauren's teacher, Miss Reiprich.
One of Lauren's good friends, Heidi and her family sat right behind us.
Lauren's class put on a little musical and dance performance for the parents.
The little dance was cute. After the kids did it they invited families to join in. Sadie's older brother Marshall who is 16 joined in and the girls were all smitten. It was hilarious.

 Last day of school!!!
It doesn't seem possible that they are going to be 1st and 3rd graders. Crazy to think Lauren is already 1/2 way done with her elementary career.
He seems so big! He turns 6 tomorrow and I can hardly believe it!
