Snow!

 We got a light dusting of snow this afteroon- the kids were SO excited!!

 They bundled up and headed out to play. It snowed for a few hours and stuck a little but the it melted. We're all crossing our fingers for more tonight!! 

Friend Visit

 Our friends, the Sweaneys, were in town for the last week and it was so much fun. The kids hadn't seen each other in a year and the grown ups about 6 months. It was like no time had passed and we were all so excited to hang out! 

 Redhook was always one of our favorite places to go with them so of course it was our first stop of the week! 

 Since they moved to the UK a mom bought all 5 friends matching shirts to wear to welcome Lilly back! It was cute. 

 We had lunch at roasted marshmallows at McMenamins one day, it was so fun.

 The girls talked us into a Starbucks coffee date afterwards- they sat and chatted for over an hour! 

The dads took the boys to Elevated Sports and the boys had lots of fun with the photo booth. Luke & Ben were inseparable the whole week- they are two peas in a pod! 

 On New Years Eve Day we went to K1 Speed and raced. We all had lots of fun!!

 On New Years Eve we hosted a fondue party with the Sweaneys and Purefoys. We all had so much fun! 

 The girls were so cute- Lauren and Lilly wore dresses and wanted me to curl their hair. Fancy ladies!

 The girls were excited to do a Martinelli's toast at midnight with the grownups! All the kids made it until midnight!

 The dessert course of our fondue got a little crazy! Luckily we had a cutting board underneath and no damage was done to the table! 

 We put the kids to bed after midnight and played Just Dance on Xbox until 2...lots of laughs were had. Let's just say we won't be on Dancing with the Stars anytime soon! 

 These pictures are out of order but one of the nights we got a babysitter and all the grown ups went to Beardslee Public House for dinner. Lots of fun to have time to chat without kids! 

 These pictures are out of order too...after we roasted marshmallows at McMenamins we headed over to the pool and swam for a couple hours. The girls had a blast- the moms froze!

We said good-bye yesterday- we all met for lunch at Zeek's pizza in Kirkland. It was hard to say good-bye after such a fun filled week, but we are thankful for the time we had. Can't wait for next time:)
