A day with Grandpa Fred

Yesterday we spent the day with Grandpa Fred. We went to Country Village where we were greeted by all sorts of chickens and ducks.
The kids rode the ponies. Lauren's pony was named Stacey.
 Ben's was Charlie.
 They had a great time.

After Country Village we went to Red Robin then to Evergreen Church to watch the light display. This year they set up toy trains and a walking path with lights. It's so beautiful!

We had such a fun day kicking off the Christmas season!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving morning Lauren watched the parade while Ben cleaned for me:)
We BBQ'd the turkey this year, it was so pretty. Loved this way of preparing the turkey, only took a few hours, out of the kitchen and freed up the oven for other stuff.
 Poor Carson had the flu:(
 The ladies
 The hosts
 The crew
 The crazies
 The sicky
Lauren was in a bit of a funk so she liked cuddling up with Carson and the ipad.
These two are peas in a pod. Love their games.

Happenings

A few weekends ago Nana, Hadley, Lauren & I  headed down to Seattle to hang out with Hayley for the afternoon.
We walked around the street market, had lunch, visited the troll and had coffee and gelato.
It was such a fun day!
Saw this in a store the other day, loved it. Should've bought it.
Ben and I went on a bike ride last weekend. He is hilarious. He loves to ride but also loves his "breaks".
This is one of his "breaks".
We've been having so much sunny weather, it's been cold but so pretty. We love it!
Lauren drew this picture of her future dorm room she plans to share with her friend Ella. It's quite fancy, included a massage chair, a disco ball, and of course it's 2 stories.
Ben's class had a feast last week. Gobble Gobble!
We saw Frozen with Ben and Lauren's friends Ella & Carter. We all loved it, one of our favorite Disney movies for sure!

Carson is 3

We had a great time celebrating the little Ninja's birthday last week!

Family Photos 2013

We had our family photos taken last month by the fabulous Jessica Larson down at Golden Gardens. Miss Lauren was...lets call it "challenging"...and our session only lasted 15 minutes. We're pretty impressed with what she was able to get from our not so cooperative family in that short amount of time:)
