12th Man Jam Gym Meet

 Lauren got 2nd on beam at today's gym meet- her friend Lucy got 1st. 

 Lauren got 1st on floor! 

 She got 2nd overall and Lucy got 1st! So proud of these girls. They got 2nd place as a team and missed 1st place by .2! 

 Lizzie came to cheer the girls on!

November Happenings

 Ben is really into playing games, especially Monopoly and Yahtzee! 

 We celebrated Miss Vianne's 3rd birthday! 

 Lauren had a sleepover with her friend Lucy- they are 2 peas in a pod! 

 My class learned about Diwali and I dressed the part! 

 We spent Veteran's Day at the movies- saw Peanuts, wasn't our favorite but still had fun. 

 Met up with Oma & Opa for a Veteran's Day dinner! 

 One of my students gave me this note last week. Made me laugh that the reason is I "look good". Definitely a quality of a good teacher:) 

 Hads and I had a little aunti/niece date and went to See's candy and Starbucks! 

 Fall has really hit and we are all enjoying laying by the fire, especially the kitties! 

 Lauren and Gretel are such buddies. 

All the ladies in my neighborhood went to the Northshore Schools Foundation Wine walk at Country Village and we had a fabulous time! 

Halloween!

 Friday night we finally carved our pumpkins! Better late than never:) 

 We trick or treated around our neighborhood first with our neighborhood friends. Ben was Jimmy Graham this year. 

 Lauren was Super Girl! 

 Then we headed over to Ryan & Megan's for cousin trick or treating. Carson was VERY proud of his Hulk costume, he was the cutest telling everyone about his green make up and muscles. 

 Hadley was a rapper, though she had no idea what that really was. She looked cool:) 

 We ended the night with neighborhood Driveway Drinking which lasted until midnight... 

 Thank goodness November 1st was daylight savings and we all got an extra hour of sleep! 

 One of our neighbors dressed as "Joe Dirt". We all had a good laugh over his wig. 

So lucky to have such a fun group of neighbors! 

End of Soccer Season

 Both kids had their last soccer games on Saturday. It was a windy and wet day, we were glad it was their last games:) Lauren's team ended their season undefeated! They tied 2 and won the rest, pretty awesome season. 

 Ben's team won more than they lost and improved a lot as the season went on. Must have been the great coaching:) 

 We had a pizza party to celebrate the season and Coach Kevin gave each kid mini soccer balls with their "nicknames" on them. Ben's was "Mr. Quick". 

Lauren's team had a party to celebrate their awesome season too! The coach made them all shirts and they got trophies- lucky kids to have such great coaches and teammates!
