A fun Surprise!

On Sunday we got to see our nephew Spencer and brother-in-law Jayson who live in Idaho, who we usually only see once a year!
Lauren was excited to see one of other cousins! The last few days she's been saying "Spencer, cousin" It's cute:)
He was so good with her (he has 3 younger sisters!) and Lauren got a kick out of him as well. So fun to see you guys, wish we saw you lots more!

Eyes Bigger Than Stomach!

Spencer ordered the biggest meal ever at Claim Jumper. We got a lot of entertainment out of watching him try to eat this meal big enough for 4!
Keep going... you have a lot to eat!
He didn't quite finish his meal but still thought he could eat the eclair...made for 8!
Kevin and I felt bad for him so we had to help:) Lauren dug in too!
Oh to be 13 again and be able to eat all that food and still look like this!

Favorite New Place

Lauren loves the play area at Alderwood Mall. She would play here for hours if we'd let her and I really don't think she'd notice if we left and went shopping for a few hours!

Just hanging out waiting her turn for the slide, she seems to feel very grown up and indepedent when she is here!
Wee! She never gets tired of this slide!

A Teenager?

Lauren is so cool just listening to her tunes on her bean bag!
Sometimes I swear she's about to turn 13... not 2.

She spent a lot of time in these shoes but she got SO mad when they'd fall off... the kid has a TEMPER!

Moving is Fun

Lauren thinks it is great having all these new places to hide... don't get used to it Lauren!

4 wheelin'

Lauren took the quad for a spin outside today. Not sure who had more fun, her or us! She was hilarious on this thing!
She doesn't quite get that you have to look forward when you drive and she was constantly running off the sidewalk- she even drove off the curb and into the street once! She seemd so confused as to why this kept happening... we're hoping she gets the hang of it by the time she's 16!
Got "stut" (stuck) in the neighbors yard so she got off to push it!
Then mama decided to take it for a spin!
Lauren insisted Daddy also ride and she had to show him how it all worked. So glad we have someone to teach us this stuff:)
It is so fun having dry skies so we can go oustide!

Free Shipping!

Lauren and Hadley had a blast playing in these boxes. I won't really ship them for free, but if Lauren continues with her two year old behavior I might ship her at a very discounted rate:)

So Much Snow!

This is Bob and BZ's cabin. Usually there are stairs leading up to it, maybe 7 or so. Now the snow goes right to their front door, it is crazy! I heard there was a lot of snow up there but didn't quite comprehend how much until I saw it.
This is their driveway. They had to dig steps just to get up to their house!!! Usually you can just drive right up to the front steps- I'm still in shock at how much snow was there. There was a post of us on their steps in November if you don't believe me, look at my old posts:)

Snow Shoeing

Ryan, Megan, and BZ took us on a fun snow shoeing adventure!
It was so pretty, the sun was out and there was so much snow!
Megan, Ryan, Hadley, and BZ
Now why is this fun?
Cute Hadley

Fun Times at the Cabin

We were lucky enought to be invited up to Bob and BZ's cabing this weekend. We all had a great time and Lauren loved walking around with this basket thing on her head. She spent a lot of time playing with it. Poor Hads had too much fun with her toys and bonked her cheek really hard on one. The poor thing has a bruised cheek, but she still managed to look darling in her heart shirt.
More time with this basket over her head.
Then she discovered that a little backpack came off her big backpack and thought that was pretty cool!

Finally!

Lauren and Hadley were just enjoying a nice drink before bed time when suddenly...

Hadley decided she would rather have Lauren's cup! I love it, I am so glad Hadley is finally fighting back and giving Lauren a dose of her own medicine. These two never fail to entertain me:)

Hot Stuff!

Lauren was quite the diva on Valentine's Day. She wore her sunglasses all around, she didn't notice they were upside down! Who cares- they look hot!
She also tried a few necklaces on, so pretty. It's hard work though, she needed to take a little coping time out for herself.
Back to playing!

Showin' some love for Ben

Lauren and I were playing with stickers tonight and she decided to give some to Ben. Finally a break through- usually anytime we talk about "baby Ben" she says, "NO" and walks away. I know she will love her brother, it just may take awhile.

Accessories

Lauren is so into accessories lately. She found this baby headband in her drawer and just had to wear it. She posed so nicely for me and said Cheese! She seems to feel quite beautiful whenever she has accessories on.

Push

Hadley got to play on the slide for the first time and she was excited! Lauren wasn't quite as excited about sharing her toy...
She got right behind her and said "PUSH"
And pushed her right down the slide!
Then followed right behind. Luckily Hadley is one tough cookie and landed just fine and was all smiles.

We decided Hadley was better off in the swing, Lauren did not agree with this either and ended up in tears. Learning to share is very hard!

High Fashion

"Maimee" brought these sunglasses over for Lauren the other night and they were a major hit! We thought they looked especially lovely with her camo jammies!
She wouldn't take them off, even wore them during dinner.
Showing the many ways you can sport the glasses.
This was in the morning, and Kevin and I were laughing SO hard! She woke up, wanted the sunglasses, then insisted on putting on her dress shoes. Wow- it was quite a sight! The girl has opinions and she isn't afraid to share them (she didn't want us to take this picture as you can see, but we HAD to document this outfit!)
Thanks for the pretty sunglasses Aimee!
