Zuanich Park

It was so gorgeous out today so we had to go down to the waterfront and play. It was 37 degrees out but the sun felt amazing and the view was incredible!
Benny, Daddy, & Mommy
Lauren was really into this little boy. His name is Chase and that is her nickname for Ben because she says that Ben is a "dorky" name. So when she met a real live Chase it was quite thrilling and she followed him all around mothering him.
A family shot down by the water.
Baker was so beautiful. Bellingham on a sunny day is just breathtaking, I can't get enough of it. One of these days Kevin might get his wish and get me to move there...if he can promise me it will be sunny everyday:)
These big boys came riding by on their skateboard and Lauren did exactly what I knew she would. She went running after them yelling, "Hey Boys, I have a skateboard too and kept trying to talk to them. Then she caught up with their mom and had a conversation with her. She wanted to know how old the boys were and why they were wearing shorts when it was so cold out. These boys were so nice and stopped and chatted with her for a second. Miss Lauren is a crazy one but man does she make us laugh!
Cutest boy in the world playing with Oma. What a perfect day!

Christmas in Bellingham

We headed up to Bellingham Christmas afternoon and spent the weekend with Oma & Opa. It was such a beautiful weekend and we all had so much fun playing and relaxing! Ben got another train which he calls "choo choos". It's so fun that he's starting to talk and makes Mama happy:)
Lauren & Ben got new hats and had to try them on.
Lauren got some boy baby clothes for her dolls so they don't all have to be girls anymore! She enjoyed reading baby Alvin one of her new Diego books.
Olive Monster!
Ben has been into feeding us lately.
Lauren loves olibes! (she can't say v's, it's pretty cute.)
Their favorite spot- Opa's lap!
All geared up to go boarding with Opa. It was short lived, she is very frustrated that she isn't a pro yet!
Ben loves trying to ride the skateboard too!

Christmas Morning

Lauren was soooo excited that Santa brought her a Rescue Pack so she could continue on her animal saving adventures! It even has a baby jaguar with a cast and an x-ray!
Ben is pretty thrilled with his train table extravaganza!
Lauren was DYING to give Kevin his gift from her and Ben. She has been keeping this secret for a few weeks and I was quite impressed that she did it! She & Daddy are going to have so much fun at the skate park with their skateboards!
Mama was happy to get some new Uggs!
Lauren had to try on her new clothes (non that actually went together of course) and test out daddy's skateboard around the house. She was THRILLED when we went to Ryan & Megan's for breakfast and they had a skateboard waiting for her! I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pics but I'm sure you can imagine how happy my little skater girl was!

Christmas Jammie Shots

Couldn't pick just one so I had to post all the attempts. None are perfect but I love them all. I especially love that Ben insists on holding a doll and he had to have one when he went to bed tonight. It's darling and sweet now, might not be so cute if he wants to start wearing Lauren's clothes.

Chirstmas Eve Fun!

This picture is supposed to be at the bottom but I can't get it to move. Anyway, this is the last outift change of the night (not really though, once she went to bed she had to change again because these jammies were too hot!) Here she is with baby Alvin, Simon, & Theodore. Can you tell we saw the new Chipmunk movie this morning?! She LOVED it.
We started out Christmas Eve with Nana & Pa coming over and heading to church which was quite a success and fun was had by all. Then home for dinner and a couple of gifts. Lauren and Ben each opened their gifts from eachother which turned out to be MAJOR hits! Lauren got a doll that can take a bath and Ben got a drill that really spins.

Ben didn't want to open his gifts until he had finished his whole bowl of hummus of course:)

Then Lauren decided her new doll needed a bath asap. She got wet which lead her to undressing first, then she decided she needed her bathing suit. The outfit changes continued from there. Just in this post I think she is wearing 5 different outfits but that was nothing, for the day I'd say she had 15 outfit changes.

Ben was a drilling maniac and was working on our cabinets, it was too funny!

This is her outfit that she is wearing on her trip to the jungle that she was about to go on. Had to get that baby really clean before they boarded the plane!

Just had to throw a pic in of Kevin & I from tonight too.

Just had to post this one to show yet another outfit change. And this is her new bath baby named Alvin (which also happens to be her new name, Diego is now her nickname and Alvin is her real name, and Lauren is totally out of the picture for the moment).
What a fun Christmas Eve, can't wait for tomorrow. Santa is downstairs right now working really hard on the kids presents:) Merry Christmas Everyone!

Funny place to sleep

Instead of sleeping here all night...
she chooses to sleep here from about 3 am on. Wouldn't be my pick but something about it is quite cozy to her! And she always makes sure to bring bunny and elephant along with her. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, she wakes me up and offers for me to sleep with one of them. So thoughtful at 3 am.

Dancing

Lauren put on a variety of dresses yesterday and was twirling and dancing around. I managed to get a few shots! She's so cute when she dresses like a girl!
Ben was doing what he does best, following behind her trying to do exactly what she does!
Cheesy picture of Lauren but I love the glimpse of the HUGE smile on Ben's face behind her!
Something about this picture makes me laugh. Not his best look but he was feeling pretty cool dancing around with Lauren.
Here is an attempt at a video!
*It keeps saying it's not available.I'll try to upload it again later.Try it and see if it works when you all hit play.

My Gamers

Kevin wanted to sneak in a little video game time so he gave the kids remotes and told them they were playing too. They were SO serious!
At least Lauren was. Ben was serious unless I had the camera out, then he was all about saying "Cheeeeeeze".
I love how she was even lifting the remote up like people do when they play video games.
Lauren totally thought she won! It was hilarious!

Preschool Christmas Party

Lauren and her friend's Brent, Drew, & Braelyn getting ready to sing.
I love all their funny faces!
Once the singing started none of them were really that into it! Lauren did her usual "I'm going to go say hi to my mom" thing but her teacher made her go back! Miss Lauren is good at pushing her limits:)
I wish I had a picture of the rest of the group because the other 10 kids really were all signing and doing the movements. Just Lauren and her crew decided to not really participate!
Then her friends joined in and did the movements but not her, oh no, she didn't sing or do any movements the whole time! But when we got home I got to hear her sing all afternoon long. She beats to her own drum, that is for sure.

Fixin' the Quad

Ben was hard at work on the quad yesterday. Trying to figure out why it won't work... could it be that the battery hasn't been charged in months???
These pictures didn't come out well at all but still had to post them because he's so cute when he's focused and hard at work!
