Christmas Morning

The day after

 We spent the day after Christmas up in Bellingham. The boys had fun putting together Ben's engine. 

 The weather was so beautiful, we went to the park and walked around. 

 I just love sunny days on the waterfront. 

 I could've stayed here all day... 

however this little darling wasn't in the mood. 

Kevin & I got to meet up with friends at night, which was great. One of my favorite things about the holidays is catching up with everyone that is in town. Much more of that to come this week- yay! 

Christmas

Christmas morning started nice and early around here...Miss Lauren woke up at 4:30 and couldn't fall back asleep. I wouldn't let her wake Ben or Kevin up until 7:00, so she and I took showers, did our hair, did our nails, and played on my phone for 2.5 long hours...

But it was totally worth the wait! Lauren got Saige and Ben got xbox kinnect! Very happy kids!!

This box has been under the tree for the past month and she's been dying to know what's in it!! She was so excited when she found out it was Saige's horse!! 

Excited to open all his gifts!

The kids had a little time to play with their stuff new before heading to Ryan & Megan's. 

He LOVES his Kinnect. 

The kids were excited to see everyone at the Prentice household! The girls love that they have matching scarves- thanks Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Bob!

After a delicious brunch and present opening frenzy and lots of fun we headed home to pack up for Bellingham.

Lauren was so thrilled to get the Hunter boots she'd been dying for!

We brought the xbox with us and we all had so much fun playing it. 

Definitely makes you act like a crazy person, but so fun and great exercise!

Christmas Eve

 Vianne and her parents came over for lunch on Christmas Eve. We all had a blast playing with her, she is so cute and fun to be with. Her parents aren't too shabby either;) 

 Lauren and Ben always do their gift exchange on Christmas Eve. This year Lauren got Ben an engine to build. 

 He was really excited about it...so was dad!

 Ben got Lauren a lego holder, 

 and infinity scarf, 

and earrings, which were his idea! She loves them so much. 

After their little gift exchange we went to Nana & Pa's for Christmas Eve dinner, just forgot to take pics! 

Snowflake Lane

We had a great time at Snowflake Lane on Christmas Eve Eve. Great weather, great friends. Fun times! 

PEOPLE

Lauren likes to read People magazine. Maybe not the best parenting move ever...the other day when an Adam Levine song came on the radio she said to Kevin, "oh, this is Adam
Levine, he's sexy." After getting over his shock, he asked her what that meant and she said, "I don't know but I read it in moms magazine." Oops...

Oliver

 Nana & Pa took the kids to see Oliver at the 5th Avenue for Christmas this year. 

 Carson's not quite old enough to sit through a play yet so just the 3 big kids got to go. 

 They had great seats and the kids came home so excited about the play, they loved it! 

 They also got to make a stop at Starbucks. 

 Such lucky kids! 

Kevin & I went and saw the play the next day with some friends! 

Christmas break!

Now that I'm back at work, Christmas break is super exciting for me too! 2 weeks of no schedule and just having fun- yahoo! The kids kicked it off with a sleepover in the playroom!

Snow

It finally snowed! We had a 2 hour late start and the kids had a blast playingin the snow before school.
