First week of summer

 Summer is off to a great start around here. Ben's b-day has been continuing through the week with cards still arriving in the mail- he's loving it! 

 We've had high temps around here, already in the high 80's so we went to Menchie's after gymnastics one day. 

 The neighborhood kids are loving this warm and sunny summer nights. I had to drag Ben in at 9:45 the other night. 

 We went swimming with our neighbors last week- always a fun time. 

 Lauren was excited to see a friend from gym at the pool too!

 Megan & Travis came over for dinner and Lauren had fun playing nurse with Megan. 

 Lauren had gym 4 days in a row this week, I finally got to see her on the beam!

 Ben had a gift card to Toys R Us so we headed there to find a new treasure. Carson came with us and he was in heaven with all the Legos!!

Excited to be on summer break!! 

Ben is 7!

 Yesterday Benny Boo turned 7! 

 He was in a very cuddly mood all day and wanted to sit on our laps a lot. 

He's still our baby:) 

 Super excited to get his new Doug Baldwin jersey! 

 And lots of football cards! He got a football card organizer that stores 900 cards! So far he has close to 400 but is very eager to fill it up:) 

 Pancakes with whip cream and strawberries, his bday request! 

 He got lots of birthday phone calls including a Face Time from his best buddy in England! It was super cute watching them. 

 So excited about all his football cards!

 He had his party at Island Time and the kids got to play laser tag and arcade games. It was 7 year old boy heaven! 

 Ben his the 500 ticket jackpot!!! He was SO excited! 

 They boys were really cute in their laser tag gear! 

 Kevin had to have a turn playing too:) 

 Ben was very specific with his cake request this year- had to be chocolate with chocolate frosting with a football on it. I tried my best...

 Lauren had a birthday party to go to last night so Kevin, Ben, & I went to Red Robin for his birthday dinner. Again, he was super cuddly...we were laughing so hard. The boy really likes to be close to us:) 

 Just couldn't get enough!

 Such a fun day celebrating Ben...cuddles and all! 

Hello Summer!

 Last day for all 3 of us! 

 We started the day off with a trip to Starbucks to celebrate. 

 Getting ready for the farewell tunnel for the 6th graders to run through! 

 So long school! 

 Hello Summer! The kids had a blast at our end of the year staff party- they got to climb trees and roast marshmallows- a kid heaven! 

 This year marked my first year teaching full time since Lauren was born. It was so great to have Ben 2 doors down and Lauren just a short walk away. I feel so lucky to be able to work at their school and see them throughout the day, crazy to think Lauren only has 2 more years there! Time flies. 

Flag Football

 The "Dominators" had their last flag football game today. The fought hard and played well but didn't win. Ben did score two touch downs though so he was pretty happy:) 

He takes football very seriously, studies the plays, and is super focused. It's pretty fun to watch him!

 Carson (and my parents and Ryan & Megan came to almost every game, Oma & Opa even drove down for one.) Lucky Ben to have such a fan club!

 Ben's teacher came to cheer him on today! 

We had a party at Zeek's after the game to celebrate. The coach gave each kid a Seahawks award- Ben got the Jimmy Graham award, which he was thrilled about! 

He's already asking when the next season starts... and when he can start tackle football.
