Cousins

I have always felt so lucky to have the best cousins ever. Even better, my kids think they are the bees knees. They pretty much are.

Snow

We watched the game at BJ's on Sunday and his brother brought some snow down from the mountains. Ben had a blast playing in it- you'd think the kid had never seen snow before. He was so excited over this very small amount. It was pretty cute.

Snoqualmie Falls

We ventured out to the falls on Monday, it was 38 degrees and SO foggy up top, but once we hiked down to the bottom the sun came out and it was beautiful!

Wine Tasting with the Fam

My cousin Claire & her friend Hannah came up from CA last weekend to visit Hayley and we had a fun day of wine tasting. Family bonding at its finest!

Seahawks

The Seahawks have finally done it, they have turned our family into fans! Such a fun game last weekend, can't wait for the Super Bowl! (Did I really just type that?!)

NYE

This year for new years we decided to have a little "staycation" in Bellevue. It was the best NYE yet. So fun!

The kids LOVED jumping on the beds of course. Highlight of hotels.

Pool was a major hit for as well...not so much for me. It was too cold and I'm a wimp, and the hot tub is no longer there- boo:(
Cold water didn't hold them back though!

We walked down to the mall for dinner at Cactus and then to Celebration Lane which was a blast!
It was basically just a big party in the street- people dancing everywhere, fun characters all around, loud party music, and "snow"!

Then we headed back to our hotel for a wild game of Headbanz.

We watched New Years Rockin' Eve for awhile, watched the ball drop East Coast time, and were all fast asleep by 11.
The next day we woke up and had some pool time,
Played on the ipad,
and went to PF Changs for lunch.
We all got pretty decent fortunes...a great way to start the new year!

Happy 2014!

Winter Break Fun

Kevin & Ben had fun building Ben's new TMNT Lego set. Such serious builders.
Lauren & Hadley made Emma birthday cards, which cracked me up. Apparently she is both of their best friends! I love how kids this age tell everyone they are their best friends.
Hadley had a sleepover and it was a huge success!
 Love these girlies!
Jodie came for a visit and Hadley was in heaven!
Ben got "dressed up" and proposed to Lauren with this fake ring:) He was very proud.
 We've been boogying a lot.
With our shirts off of course.
I got Ben this puzzle for Christmas. I quickly learned the boy has no concept of how to do a puzzle...oops. We've been working on it but we have a ways to go! His friend wasn't much better, which actually made me feel better;)
Watching 5 year old boys dance their hearts out to "gummy bear" is pretty entertaining!
Totally jumped on the typical new year bandwagon and got a juicer. Still going strong at 9 days:)
(Also joined a hot yoga studio for 6 months, gotta keep going with all the new years cliches!)
This little lady earned herself a pedicure by filling up her "nice jar"...only took 2 months:)
Introduced Lizzie to carrot juice...she politely said it wasn't her favorite.
And we met Isabelle, the new "girl of the year" who is now a must have item for 2014. Lauren is already trying to come up with a way to get her ASAP.
