Going Shopping

Lauren loaded up her cart with all her babies and animals and was ready for a trip out on the town. She kept saying "bye bye" to us.
Gotta have shades before you can head out.
And what would a shopping trip be without a latte?

Lauren Loves Honey

Lauren has really been into playing with Honey lately. Luckily Honey has been really good at letting Lauren chase her, ride her, and hug her!

Gotta keep those feet soft

Now she is obsessed with her toes. She watched me do a little foot scrub the other night and the next day we found her in the bathroom trying it out herself. She was really serious about it too!

"I read to Baby"

Lauren was reading to her baby here. It was very cute. I offered to read the book to her and the baby and she said,"No, I read to baby". Maybe she's practicing her big sis skills???

Cinderella

Lauren rediscovered her Cinderella costume and now loves it! She played kitchen in it and looked so beautiful!

1st Pedi

Nana painted Lauren's toes yesterday and Lauren LOVED it! When she got home she wanted to clip her nails. She is too funny with all her beauty needs. Lately she has to run lotion on her tummy all the time too:)

6-9 months

I was going through a huge tub of baby clothes and Lauren found this dress- it was her Christmas dress when she was 7 months old. The size said 6-9 months in it. She insisted on having it on and I kept telling her it wouldn't fit. Looks like I was wrong! I don't remember it being huge on her but it must have been. She wore it for a few hours and looked pretty cute actually!

"I sleep Ben's Bed"

We started putting Ben's crib and room together today and Lauren thought it was so fun. She had to get in the crib to "sleep" right away! Lauren played in here for quite awhile- never really did sleep, just pretending. Hope she thinks everything is so fun once Ben is actually here:)

Made Us Laugh!

Lauren escaped her bath and decided she needed to do some writing.
Serious business
Such a cute little butt- we couldn't resist taking pictures before we grabbed her and put her jammies on!

Beautiful Bellingham

We spent the weekend in Bellingham and enjoyed the amazing sunny day. This boy kept trying to give Lauren this bug he found to hold. Luckily she has some of her mama in her and would not touch it! Glad to see she has some of me in her:)
She kept climbing up here and yelling "I up here". Quite proud!
Just enjoying Boulevard Park.
What a beautiful sight! (the girl and the water or course!)

I heart Babucks

Since we knew we had a long drive to B'ham last Friday night we decided to treat Lauren to her very own Frappuccino. She felt very cool and grown up. Better not get used to having $4 drinks!

Working Hard

Lauren has been into writing lately and she prefers to use a pen and a manual of some sort for her writing. She finds any owners manual she can get her hand on and writes all over it. Then she says, "I werting hard" (which means working hard).
It's very serious business.

Weirdo!

We checked on Lauren before we went to bed last night and this is what we found. I have to admit, my heart skipped a beat, but once I realized she was breathing I got a good laugh. We rearranged her and all was well. She is a wild sleeper!
Guess "Wild" should be her theme since she seems to dress that way as well. She picked this lovely outfit out herself.
When it was time to go to her Kids in Motion class today I told her she had to change. She agreed to wear "tights and a dress" but once we got the tights on she decided they looked good all by themselves and there was really no need for the dress! We had a full on tantrum, it was lovely. I should've taken a picture but I was kind of fed up at that point:) Anyway, we finally got the dress on and made it to class, and she had fun! Wow, if she isn't even 2 yet, what will 2 bring? I'm kind of scared!

Betty Crocker- Eat Your Heart Out!

Lauren really likes to "helt" with all the cooking lately:) I decided to let her make muffins. She was very excited!
Enjoying one of her tasty treats.
Hadley woke up just in time to enjoy one fresh from the oven.
Since Hadley thinks we have an invisible dog that she should feed, most of hers ended up on the floor, but Lauren thought she would pick up the pieces and feed them to her. Wouldn't want any of those tasty muffins to go to waste!

Dental Health

Kevin and Lauren practiced flossing the other day. No doubt she's going to be a good flosser- her dad is a flossing Nazi.
Working on her skills, I think she enjoys the minty taste.
Just a cute pic:)

Super Model

This is one of my favorite pictures of Lauren. She insisted on wearing her suit and new party sandals all around the house on Friday morning- she wore them for about 3 hours! She thought she was quite beautiful and was prancing everywhere she went. I even got her to pose, which rarely happens, I guess it is easy to do when you are feeling this pretty!

Crazy Kid!

We put Lauren down for her nap but heard a lot of commotion. After awhile we decided we better check on her and this is what we found! We were both laughing so hard we cried!
Sound asleep in her closet in the wipe box:) Ahh... now that is comfort!
