Trick or Treating

Since our neighborhood is full of duds we headed over to Ryan & Megan's for some trick or treating fun!
It's more fun over there anyway! The kids had such a great time.

BZ & I joined in the festivities with our witch hats.

They were so cute I could hardly stand it!
Ben was always two steps behind but that didn't hold him back. He even out lasted Lauren, pretty impressive Benny!
Lauren headed back early because she was tired. She had fun going through her loot.
 Best Night of Hadley's Life!
Ben was loving it too! He & Hads share a love for the sweet stuff.
Happy Halloween!

Just like Lo Lo

Ben insisted on wearing a headband because Lo Lo was wearing one. He doesn't quite get how to wear it, which is just fine. It was too funny.

Just like Mama

Lauren was trying to dress like me the other night. I love how she doubled up her necklace so it would match mine!

Party at Nana's Work

Nana's work goes all out for Halloween (who knew manufacturing could be so fun?!). They had a parade today and we got to join in.
Lauren thought it was so cool. Ben was a little apprehensive.
Lauren didn't feel like being Belle today so she convinced Ben to be a monkey so she could wear the dragon costume. She's lucky he's so easy going...most of the time!
They really get into it at NIC. All the departments had a theme and they decorated their cubical areas and everything. It was pretty impressive. My mom's department won of course:)
There was also a pumpkin contest. This one won. It made me laugh. It had PC & Windows stickers on it and was eating a Mac disk. Had to laugh, since we just made the switch.
Since Nana's department was a 3 ring circus they had this trike for the clowns to push around in the parade. Ben loved it!
They had balloons to throw darts at. The kids loved popping them all with the darts...normal toddler activity, right?!
The lion tamer for the circus bought all these giant lions and had them in her cubical with fake steaks under each! I tell you, they really went all out!
Miss Hads had double duty today, a preschool party and Nana's party so she missed the parade but got there in time for the balloon popping. It's hard when your schedule is so full.
Not sure what we are going to next week when there isn't a Halloween activity to go to each day!

My Little Multitasker

The Ergo comes in so handy when it's time to for Lauren to eat. It is just so convenient to have your hands free while still snuggling close to your baby.

Dragons Don't Wear Lipstick

Lauren got to wear lipstick with her Belle costume. Guess who thought he should wear it too? Ben just helped himself to the lipstick while I was getting Lauren ready. He was so proud he said, "My get lipstick out of mama's bathroom!"
Sorry Benny, Dragons don't wear lipstick. And most boys don't either!

Halloween Party at Nana & Pa's

Since Nana & Pa are going to be out of town for Halloween they had us over for a little Halloween party. I never did manage to get a good pic of all 3 kids so I just posted them all. I love this one of Lauren posing in the middle.
Playing "pin the eyes on the monster".
 round and round you go
Lauren advising Hadley on where the eyeball should go.
 checking out how she did
Ben didn't wear the eye cover so he did much better than the girls:)
Then we played "catch the worm" which was a hit!

 The crazies!
I love this one of Ben! The other two, not so much...!
And do you love how Lauren is "sporty Belle" with her Adidas jacket on?

Pumpkin Carving Night

Lauren's preschool had a family pumpkin carving night on Monday. It was so fun to see all the kids dressed in their cute costumes. Avery, Brady, & Ellie looked so cute in their costumes!
Ben & Hudson are both dragons!
Lauren takes her pumpkin carving very seriously. Our pumpkin has multiple personalities, a different face from each angle:)
 B & L
Ben enjoyed the cookies, as you can see his mouth is full. (By the way, Kevin carved Ben's & I carved Lauren's- can you tell?)

Okay Baby- We're Ready For You (at least Auntie is!)

We celebrated the new cousin to be last night! Hads is already playing the big sis role perfectly. She was so helpful handing out all the binkie candies.
Mama to be with Joc & Heather
 Daddy to be
 Joc, Lis, & Kip
Meg with the cutest belly ever and Sarah
 Baba & Pa
 Nana & Zaide
Hads decided to put on 3 swim suits and a tank top at the same time. She cracks me up!
 Opening their loot!
What shower would be complete without pin the binkie on the baby?
Ben loved playing with the talking beer opener (common shower item, right?). Nana taught him that if you lick your finger and touch the metal it'll talk! He was in heaven!

Okay Baby, you have everything you need now so time to come out...well maybe hang in there a few more weeks. But a few days early so you can join us for Thanksgiving would be nice:)
