Buddies

 Not sure who is loving the fact that we now have one of Lauren's buddies as our neighbor more, me or the girls? It has been SO fabulous having a friend 2 houses up to help entertain Miss Lauren. Now that school is out they have been playing together every other day and I am loving it!

 Pool Party on Sunday when it was still sunny. (Yes, Lauren does still wear boy clothes on occasion but she doesn't let too many people see her in them.) 

 Pool party in the bathtub on Tuesday because it was raining cats and dogs.

Sleepover with their AG dolls. Of course they switched jammies and their dolls did too:) 

Oh I hope this continues. I love that she has a great playmate & I love that it gives me a break from her need for constant entertainment;) 

The Boat

 The kids and I spent Sunday afternoon on the boat with Nana & Pa. It was so nice to enjoy the sun that finally decided to come out for the day!! 

 Lauren has been trying very hard to perfect her handstand. She thought the tilt of the boat windows were just perfect for working on that...the rest of us did not agree. 

 The Farmer's Market was going on so we walked up and got these HUGE Hawaiian shaved ices!

Aquasox

 Monday night was reading night at the Aquasox game and Lauren met her reading goal at school so she earned a free ticket and a baseball! She was SO proud of herself. I'd never been to a game before and had no idea what to expect but it was so much fun! It was inflatables night so they had a bunch of bouncy houses. The kids had a blast!

 Since Kevin was out of town Pa joined us! We are so glad he could come with us, it was tons of fun!

So proud of our little reader for meeting her goal! This whole thing was genius- give the kid a free ticket and the parents have to buy tickets for the rest of the family. Smart marketing people those Aquasox have:) 

Cousins really are the best

It's pretty crazy to think that was over 5 years ago. These two really are the best of friends and it couldn't make me happier. I love my cousins so much and feel so lucky to count them as friends not just family. So so thankful Lauren has that as well. 

Bike Ride in the rain

 On Friday Kevin & I thought it'd be fun to go for a bike ride. Lauren insisted on taking our pic before we left which was pretty cute. 

We didn't really pay attention to the weather report. It started pouring on us and we were completely drenched and freezing because we weren't dressed for it at all. But we did have some good laughs about it! 

Last Day of Kindergarten

 Thursday was Lauren's last day of kindergarten. Such a bitter sweet day. Can't believe how fast it went, she's grown up so much and learned a lot.

We went to pick her up so we could say good-bye to Mrs. Tobias too. Lauren had a great year and loves her teacher so much. She was sad on the last day because she realized that meant she wouldn't be in her class anymore. We're so thankful she had such a great Kindergarten experience. 

Now come on summer- bring the sun out so we can start having some fun!! 

Field Day

 I got to help out at Lauren's field day last week and it was really fun. This is Lauren's friend Sadie who is now our neighbor too- we are LOVING having a fun friend just two doors up!

 This was a cool game, the kids all held hands and had to get the hula hoop from one end to the other without using hands or letting go. It was pretty funny to watch!

Ben's Party

 We had Ben's 4th birthday party today and per his request we had another race car party! 

We decorated wooden cars.

 Ben wanted Rice Krispy treats so Kevin made a piston cup out of them and a bunch of wheels for the kids to eat. They came out super cute!
