Camping

We went camping last weekend at Kanaskat Palmer State Park with the CWU crew. We were supposed to go 2 nights but it poured rain Friday night and there was thunder and lightning so we waited until Saturday morning to head out. The kids were excited to finally be camping!

The dads had fun with ladder golf.
The night was pretty cold and dark since there was a burn ban. We tried to play games but that didn't last long.
The campground was on the Green River and it was really beautiful.
The kids all loved throwing rocks in the river.

On Sunday the weather was a lot nicer and the kids went swimming, but my phone had died so no pics from Sunday:)
A super fun weekend catching up with old friends and watching our kids have fun together. And I secretly was happy it was just one night- sleeping in tents and using communal bathrooms just isn't my favorite:)

Animal Lover

Lauren is obsessed with our kitties, she plays with them all the time.
Our friends just got a new puppy and she's pretty in love with her too.

She got an new bike last weekend so when she's not cuddling the kitties she's riding her bike:)

And we were all pretty excited for the first pre-season game of the season. Ben watches so intently, it's fun to watch him watch the game. He hangs on every move.

Redhook

Ryan and Megan are members of Redhook's Mug Club. They had a special Mug Club BBQ for members only and we got to tag along:) The kids took our pics and it was quite comical...

Fun times!

1989

We went to the Taylor Swift concert on Saturday night and had SO.MUCH.FUN!!!
We had 300 level seats (which turned out to be better than expected) and the view of the water and city was so pretty!

Just noticed the girls photo bombing us;)

Vance Joy opened up and he was really good. He recorded his album in Woodinville, so we thought that was pretty cool!

Everyone was given a wristband when we walked in and they lit up and changed color throughout the night. It was such an incredible sight to look up at 60,000 lights in the crowd being synchronized with the music.
Such a fun mother daughter night!
 Lauren & Lizzie- BFF's
Getting ready to go...not sure why pics are out of order.
This was our 3rd Taylor Swift show and definitely not our last! She puts on an amazing show!

Stef, Taylor, & Ethan Visit

Stef and the kids came up from Las Vegas last week for a visit. We went to Cougar Mountain Zoo and had fun checking out the animals. It was our first time there, it was cool, but very small. One visit is probably enough.

 The reindeer had HUGE antlers!
We got to watch them feed the tigers which was pretty amazing.

After the zoo we headed to Boehm's chocolates. They were closed for tours but we still had fun tasting and buying candy:)
The girls were inspired by the zoo and had to play animal dress up when they got home.
Taylor and Ethan brought new Lego sets for Lauren & Ben!

We went crabbing and had perfect weather!
Since the dingy is only supposed to have 6 people in it I made the sacrifice to stay and relax while everyone else went crabbing;)

 They caught 3! Yay!
 Ben loves kayaking!
That night we went to the Brian McNight and Boyz II Men concert at the Tulalip. It was super fun!

A summer wouldn't be complete with a trip to Remlinger Farms!

The kids are getting so tall that they couldn't ride on some things, we thought Hads might turned away from the horses because she's so tall but luckily they had one horse that she could ride.
The trainer for "Kale" was one of my former kindergarteners who is now a sophomore in college!!!

These two were hilarious, chatting away as they drove. I can so picture them when they are 16!

 Love this crazy crew!
Came back to our house for some slip and slide fun! It was Taylor's first time since no one in Vegas has grass!
We walked to Starbucks and picked blackberries before heading to the airport.
This picture makes me laugh, looks like one of those "Stars, they're just like us" pics from US magazine!
Such a fun visit!
