Poor Girl, Silly Boy

Poor Lauren has had a very uncomfortable weekend and has spent a lot of time laying in bed due to a little infection. Ben has been playing with an old remote control car remote and seems to think he is controlling rocket from Little Einsteins with it. He's very entertaining these days.

Little Scientist

Lauren & I did some science the other day and she took it so seriously!
This mixing colors thing is really intense!
Her favorite part was using the little dropper to mix all the colors. It was pretty fun!

Ben's 1st "project"

Ben & I went to story time at the Woodinville Library last week and it was SO much fun! Ben sat and listened to stories and was into the songs. Then he got to "make" this cute little craft- mama had to do most of it:) He did the green scribbling though!
He was so proud of it and had to hold it in the car and carried around at home.
The Woodinville Library story time is the best kept secret around- we will be going every Thursday from now on!

Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Lauren & Braelyn at their first play today, "Goldilocks & the Three Bears." They did pretty good sitting and watching the whole thing (mostly on our laps of course!).

Sunday Morning Cuddling

Watching Diego Sunday morning. They look so cozy, it's almost enough to entice me to actually sit and watch Diego!

CWU

We took the kids over to Ellensburg for a little day trip on Saturday. It was fun to walk around campus and take a little walk down memory lane. Lauren was mostly just excited because we bought her a hooded sweatshirt, which she has been wanting for awhile!
Sitting outside the TAV. We couldn't go in because it's a bar but we couldn't go to E'burg for the day and not eat there. Kevin got an order to go!
Kevin & Ben chowed down on a burger and fries while Lauren and I ate are very healthy gluten free salad (I must say, it was an amazing salad!) at a yummy place called Dakota Cafe.
I think we have a mini Tav fan our our hands. We won't tell him that it is even better with a beer!
Yum!

Lauren

The little babysitter (NOT a mom) is very good at her job. These babies threw up so she had to give them a bath.
She loves them so much she got in there with them.
She's also mastered the art of multitasking- putting the baby in the apron so she can cook and jump!

For this move she just shoved the baby up her shirt!

Ben

Ben has been into playing baby lately and he even says, "Baby" now. He layed out this blanket and said, "Nigh Nigh Baby".
Interesting method of putting your baby to bed, just lay on it!
What a good daddy!
He's also become VERY opinionated about what he wears. He prefers to be in a diaper and shoes, no pants or shirts needed. But he throws a major fit if you take his shoes off!
This look pretty much says it all these days with this boy!

Leprechaun Visit

This morning a leprechaun left a trail of gold that led to a bag of gold!
Ben was pretty excited about the chocolate!
Once he realized it was "choc" he tried to pick up every single piece!
Chocolate candy, followed by shamrock cookies...a delightful breakfast!
We made TONS of baby shamrock cookies because we didn't have a big shamrock cookie cutter. Next year we will be buying a bigger cookie cutter, these took FOREVER!
And here is a little video of the hunt for the treasure!

Hadley's Birthday Party!

Miss Hadley turned 3 this weekend! From the looks of the pictures, you would think it was Lauren's birthday since she is front and center, but it was actually Hads birthday! Thanks for sharing Hadley!

Ben kept standing on the presents, he thought he was so cool.
Make a Wish Hads!
All the girls had to blow the candle out so it got lit a few times!
I love the serious looks on their faces here!
Lauren was in heaven with the "big kid" Tatum. She is in first grade you know!
The Birthday Girl...she was such a good sport considering she got sick on her special day!
Someone REALLY enjoyed his cupcake!
Lauren had a blast playing dress up with the girls. I enjoyed watching it:) They can come over anytime!
Ben was feeling pretty grown up playing with the big kids!
Hadley going through all her clothes, one of her all time favorite activities!
Trying on her Apple Bottom undies that we got her. They are a little big though, oops.
Happy Birthday to our favorite 3 year old cousin! We love you Miss Hadley!

Budding Chef...with an attitude!

Ben was in quite a mood on Saturday and nothing would stop him from crying. I set him on the counter for a second and he stopped. So of course, I let him stay there. He cooked up some plums for us and they were delicious! He also broke a dish, but hey, he wasn't crying!

New Cut!

Lauren got a new little hair cut this weekend too! Her bangs are almost grown out to the same length as the rest of her hair, now if we can just keep it out of her face!

Dino Crown

Lauren was very proud of these crowns that she made at preschool the other day. She made one for each member of our family. Too bad we didn't get a group shot!

Benny got a haircut!

Ben was in major need of a haircut but he had been so cranky we were scared to attempt it! Kevin finally just got the clippers out and went for it. Look at all that hair!
Looks like we might need to buy a cape- hair was everywhere, even in his mouth!
He looks so much older now, and much more handsome:)

A visit with Wyatt & Caden

Wyatt & Caden (and their mom and dad!) spent the day with us on Sunday. The kids had a blast playing hard all day long. Notice Ben and his helmet? He refuses to take it off!
Can't get over the helmet at dinner.
This big boy is the happiest baby EVER! What a cutie!
Lauren played so hard all day that she was just too tired to make it to her bed after bath time. She fell asleep on our floor en route!
