Happy Halloween!

The cutest Octopus and chicken in the world!

"Lauren, how long is she going to make us sit here in these costumes?"
"Just keep smiling Hadley, it makes her happy"

"Okay, never mind, my patience is wearing thin. I'm going to get up now, how do you like this view Hadley?"

"Boring, Boring, Boring. Isn't it time for me to take another nap, I've only had 3 so far!"

We Love Sheila Bernice

Last Christmas Lauren got Sheila Bernice as a gift. Much to my dismay she wasn't that into her. Suddenly today she found an interest.

Hadley decided she liked her too, which made her all that more appealing to Miss Lauren.

"Here Hadley, I am the baby expert, let me show you how to do this."

"And now Hadley, I will lay over here and play with her and you can just watch."

"Ha, you think you are so smart Lauren, I got the bottle and that is all I ever really wanted! Fooled you!"

It is so fun to watch Lauren & Hadley start to interact and play and steal each others toys... ahh, so sweet :)

Weirdo!

Lauren has found a new hiding spot!

Peek A Boo!

Mom and Dad dress up too!

Kevin & I went to a costume party on Saturday night. I was the tooth fairy and Kevin was a dollar. He drew this costume the night before!!!

Totally free hand! Is he gifted or what?!

And he kept trying to act like it was no big deal. If I did that I'd be bragging up a storm! I'm hoping Lauren inherits his talent!!!

Oma & Opa

Oma's little angel!

Opa's best bud! Lauren had Opa trained to chauffeur her around the house and yard all weekend long. She loved it and was very sad to say good-bye on Sunday.

I couldn't resist!!!

Hadley is channeling her inner Jane Fonda (her middle name is Jane!)

Hadley is feeling like hot stuff now!

Thanks for the cute accessories mom, glad aunt Val finally caught on and put it on me:)

Binkie Swap!

Lauren was SOOOOOOOOOO excited to see Hadley this morning. She missed her a lot while we were gone. Lauren had a lot of fun getting all of our binkies out the the binkie drawer and "trying them all on Hadley".

Lauren decided to spice things up and use one she's never used before.

Hadley decided to stick with the old standard (or rather Lauren decided Hadley should stick with the old standard). Hads we're so glad that you are flexible. Can you give Lauren a few lessons in that dept? We'll pay ya:)

Our Florida Adventure!

Lauren & I took a little trip out to Florida to meet Finley and visit with Megan & Dave. Here Lauren is playing at the play area in the mall. She LOVED it!

Finley & Megan and Lauren & Val

These pictures are all out of order- oops! This is Lauren on the plane ride home, she loved sitting on the floor of the plane, I'm sure it was super clean:) Thank goodness no one sat next to us so she had room to play!

Acting oh so innocent, even though she knew darn well that 30 minutes of sleep on a 4 1/2 hour flight is not considered good. Oh well, she is still the sweetest thing ever :)

The brave girl going up and down the slide over and over.

This was Lauren's first time in a wading pool where she could touch. She liked it but she would rather climb on the pool chairs around the pool deck! Funny kid :)

Hanging out with mamma! It was so nice having 80 degree weather!!!

Cute Miss Finley- who started sleeping through the night while we were there, yeah Finley!!!

Attempting a group photo!

Hanging out on the patio, this was Lauren's favorite place, she spent a lot of her time here, just sitting in the chairs (mostly climbing up and down).

Are these better Aunt Megan?

Slumber Party!!!!

Hads got to have a slumber party at our house on Sunday and it was WILD!

We went to the park and had lots of fun on the slide.

Hadley was so brave she went down with no arms! The kid is ready for roller coasters already :)

Then Lauren read her a story in the bath. Hadley was more interested in the camera though! The kid is a HAM!

"Oh Lauren, you are the funniest girl I know". Or she could be saying, the craziest, who knows?!

Then, in true Slumber Party Fashion, we wore matching jammies! The girls enjoyed a riveting version of GoodNight Moon (don't you love how enthralled they both are!?) and off to bed by 7. We're not going to tell them that most slumber parties last a lot longer than 7, what they don't know won't hurt them!

We don't believe you!

Our friend John is always saying how he just doesn't think he wants kids (except for maybe a mini Aimee!) but we're not so sure we believe him...

He certainly seems to enjoy Miss Lauren.

They are kind of two peas in a pod actually. They both sort of beat to their own drum, but in a good way (most of the time anyway!)

JOHN- Pictures speak louder than words!!!! By the way... in case you didn't know... I WON!!!

Nap Time

A pumpkin is as good as any place to rest your head!

Dress Shopping

Lauren got to come dress shopping with Laurie and I this weekend. She loved sitting in front of the mirrors and posing. She also loved hiding the dressing rooms and jumping on the long trains of wedding dresses. Not so sure the store loved her as much as she loved it!

Wanted: Snow

Lauren loves her new scarf, mittens, and hat...but where is the snow? She wore these around the house forever and even wore the scarf out. I guess no one told her it was 65 this weekend!

All dressed up with no where to go!

Lauren has so many cute dresses but I never put her in them. Today I decided she should wear a dress for no occasion at all. And my oh my did she look cute! Thanks Auntie Meg for this cute outfit. We'll be sure to keep it in tip top condition so Hadley can wear it too!

Kooky

That is the word that comes to mind when I look at her in this getup. Funny thing is, I dressed her! I wanted her to warm for our little morning walk.

"what are you looking at, I think I look quite cute!"

I think I'll just take a rest here by the garbage cans!
