Kevin & I just got back from 5 days in paradise. I forgot how much I love Hawaii. I'm not going to let that happen again, it needs to be a regular destination!! This was the view from the bar at our hotel's pool. We visited it daily.

My handy dandy "find me gluten free" app helped us find this place! They were so amazing with knowing what was safe for me to eat and the food and drinks were amazing! Loved Roy's!
There are a lot of street performers at night and most weren't that exciting but these two boys were so darling and talented! I loved them- we even went back another night to watch them again!
The famed Giovanni's shrimp truck on the North Shore. We'd heard we had to stop here so we did. It was good, but not as amazing as we'd heard. Oh well, we still had a fun day venturing out to the North Shore and seeing all the beautiful sights over there.

Kevin's co-worker Kelly was in town for the meeting they had to go to so we met up with her a couple nights. She has spent a lot of time in Honolulu and really knows the area so it was fun. She took us to all her favorite spots. We LOVED the Royal Hawaiian, otherwise known as the Pink Palace. Such old school Hollywood glam. I could just feel Marilyn Monroe in there. We had to have a drink in their bar and everything was pink- even the receipts!

I walked on the beach every morning while Kevin did some work and I couldn't resist taking pics every day! I'm just really really in love with the beach!
On our last night we went to the Moana Surfrider hotel for drinks. A very beautiful hotel!
Then we ate at the Hula Grill and they had an awesome gluten free menu that included this amazing pineapple creme brulee! I LOVE that so many places have gluten free menus now, makes traveling a whole lot more fun!
My favorite boys again! Their names are Tiger & River and they are 14 & 11 (though they look 7 & 9). I think we're going to see them on American Idol or something some day. They were so good and had such charisma! Huge crowds were gathered to watch them!
Our last walk on the beach before we headed to the airport yesterday. Kevin kept making fun of me because I would just throw up my arms like this to feel the wind while we were walking. It became a joke of the trip. What can I say, I just love the feel of the beach wind, I can't help it.
This morning was the best, the kids were so excited to see us and we were beyond excited to see them. Ben was thrilled to see I got a new hat and he immediately ran and got his hat so we could be twins. Then he said, "Well don't you want to take a picture?" So here is the picture of the twins:)
