Mid October happenings

We had our annual Fall Fondue. We figured out it was our 12th one!
Always a night with lots of laughs.
Lauren & Lucy had a sleepover at the gym and convinced me they needed to go to Starbucks on the way home.
Ben's finally brave enough to cuddle with the cats:)
Lauren & Hadley were excited to be running in the same Cross Country meet!
Never going to get over their size difference!

Ben watching the Seahawks game! I swear he thinks he's playing right along with them.
And this is how Lauren watches a football game.
Ben gives every soccer game 110%- the kids is so aggressive!
Love the late afternoon sky at the soccer games.
Lauren played against her friends team last week. It was neck and neck the whole game but Lauren's team won- they are still undefeated! One more game left...
Last week was Lauren's first gym meet of the season!

Her and her gym BFF Lucy both did great! They are super cute together and really supportive of each other.
Lauren got first place on her floor routine and 3rd place all around!
After the gym meet we went out to lunch and Ben really wanted to drive this car. I think he was quite disappointed once he actually "drove" it!
One of my students had a costume party and invited us. My kids were troopers and dressed up and went to the party for me:)
My class is very chatty this year and one of my students made this sign as a reminder:) It's actually helped this week!
A friend posted this on Facebook and I just loved it! So true and really not that hard!
We stopped by Nana's work today on the way to school to check it out. They go all out for Halloween! SO MUCH FUN!

Fall Fun

We went to a birthday party at Pump it Up last weekend and the kids had so much fun in the Wind Tunnel room- it got up to 80mph! Check out how sweaty was- the boys plays hard!

We went to Maltby Fruit Stand to pick out some pumpkins.
We met Oma & Opa for dinner in Mt. Vernon last week and took some pics down by the river- it was so pretty out.

We were in a big hurry and left straight from work- Kevin and I got a good laugh as we were rushing to get in the car and realized we'd dressed the same! Good taste:)
Ben cracks me up- he watched Sunday's game in his Seahawk helmet.
And Lauren is still writing us apology notes for the fits she throws...at least she's remorseful:) Gotta love her!

Seahawks!!

For Father's Day we got Pa tickets to go to a Seahawk game with Kevin, Ben, & Ryan. We were lucky enough to get tickets for Monday night football and they won!! Yahoo!

A super fun memory for Ben and all the guys. Ben had a great time but said it was really loud and hard to see and he thinks it's better to just watch it at home. Glad to hear he feels that way!!

Soccer

Most of Lauren and Ben's games have been at the same time but at different fields so Kevin goes to Ben's games (he's the coach) and I go to Lauren's. I finally got to see one of Ben's games a few weeks ago and he was on fire. Ben is so competitive and aggressive when playing sports, it's so funny since his personality is pretty mellow.

His team is doing pretty well, last week they won 11-2 and Ben got 4 goals:)

Lauren's team is doing amazing this year- a big change from the past 2 years. So far they've won 8 games and tied 1. It's pretty amazing to see them finally coming together and playing as a team!
The weather on Saturday was INSANE- crazy crazy rain!
The girls were so muddy but they had a blast diving in the mud.

Lauren played hard and got a goal!

Glad that soccer season is coming to an end since the weather is starting to change. We've only had one wet and rainy day so far- not bad at all!

Kitties

The kitties continue to entertain us, I'm loving having them much more than I expected:)

I especially love seeing how much Lauren loves them. Ben loves them too, he's just much more timid and doesn't hold them as much. He plays with them a lot though.
