I know I know, I just put tons of videos up. When I finally get around to uploading my flip I just go all out with the videos. The grandparents are the only ones I actually expect to watch them, so the rest of you are off the hook:) But I do have to say, some of them are pretty darn entertaining if you do feel inclined to click on them!

Cars 2
We took the kids to the very first showing of Cars 2 on Friday. 10 AM and the theater was packed! The movie was cute but probably better suited for a little older kids. Kind of a complex story line, sort of a James Bond meets Cars. But Ben still loved seeing McQueen!
Our Cyclists
We brought our bikes down to the Y today and after rock climbing we rode to Starbucks. Notice something about Ben's bike?
no training wheels! That's right, this boy has learned to ride a two wheeler. He still kind of rides like he's drunk- he is all over the place, but he can do it!
And he is pretty darn proud! So are we;)
Rock Climbing
Lauren has been DYING to go rock climbing at the Y and now that she is 5 she can! Last week at Ben's t-ball practice Lauren made friends with Haley, the t-ball equipment manager from the Y and we found out she is also in charge of the rock climbing wall! Lauren loved her so much we had her babysit Saturday night! She was THRILLED to go see her today and do her first climb.
It was a little trickier than she expected so she wanted Kevin to go so she could watch.
She did pretty good and got about 1/2 the way up the wall. She did this over and over and over!

I decided to give it a shot too, it's not really my thing being that I am scared to death of heights (and I count anything above 6 ft as scary)! It was fun though, but more challenging than I expected.
Lauren got Haley to climb with her too. Lauren is already talking about going back next weekend!

Three Years Old!!!
Ben was excited to open his presents from Mom & Dad this morning!

Favorite breakfast- chocolate milk and a "mussin" (muffin).
Kevin took the day off and we headed to the Zoo for Ben's big day. We hadn't been since winter and it was interesting to see how different Ben was this trip. He was really interested in the animals and had a million questions about all of them.
We went to the dinosaur exhibit. Kind of cool but also kind of small and overpriced. (Lauren insisted on taking this picture of us!)
We ran into our friend Riley and she and Lauren happened to be wearing the same skirt!
Crazy how big dinosaurs were!
He may be 3 but still not brave enough to ride a horse on the carousal. Mom had to ride with him and we had to sit on the bench:)
After the zoo we went to swim lessons- and Ben LOVED them and was a swimming maniac (so not normal for him) and then we met the family at TCBY. Hadley brought him a Lightning McQueen balloon which he is love with.
What a great day celebrating the sweetest, cutest, most lovable little boy!
Father's Day
Yet another great Father's Day at the Brewfest at St. Edwards Park. The rain held up and we got to have a great day hanging out with all our favorite dads while they sipped away! We are so lucky to have them all in our lives and so thankful to get to spend so much time with all of them! Yay for Amazing Dads!
Ben's Car Party!
Ben was SO excited for his Car party with all his friends on Saturday. We had so much fun we even forgot that it was pouring rain and that we were supposed to be partying outside:) How cute is the birthday boy in this pic? He was felt like such a big kid!
Of course Lauren felt pretty darn special too:)
Kevin had this great idea for the kids to make cars out of cardboard boxes. He even made them all license plates, it was so cute!

And what he'd been waiting for since the party started- presents!!! Which consisted of all things with wheels! He is in heaven. We went to the mall that night and he kept saying, "My want to go home and play with my toys."
Ben is not a mad ripper like his sister, instead he takes his time and opens his presents very carefully. So not surprising. Oh how we love this boy!
