Daddy took Lauren for a ride too! Ben wasn't very happy that he had to watch instead of ride.
And we celebrated my birthday last night. A HUGE thank you to my mom who found a way to make my all time favorite Cherry Chip cake gluten free! It was delicious and maybe even better than the original version. It was the perfect way to kick off my 33rd year:)
Lauren has been in HEAVEN all week with little Ethan. She LOVES babies and this little guy is pretty darn sweet!
She told us she wants to marry him.
She got to feed him a few times and loved every second of it.
Thankfully he & his parents are easy going and humor Miss Lauren:) Thanks for letting her have so much fun & feel so grown up!

This was Ben's first trip to the zoo that he actually 'got' it. He had a ton of fun looking at all the animals.

Last Saturday we ran the Rock N Roll 1/2 marathon. The weather was perfect for it and we had so much fun! We all beat our expected times and were pretty darn proud of ourselves...and a bit sore!
My Mom & Dad walked it and did awesome! They beat their expected time and managed to have some fun too:) Here they are about to cross the finish line.

Kevin is itching to do a full marathon now. Me, not so much- but I will be doing another 1/2. *Pretty sure this is the creepiest picture of me ever! No makeup and super tired doesn't = pretty! Oh well.
It was 62 degrees in Kirkland the other day and these classy gals decided to strip down and go swimming!

Once I realized they were actually serious about playing in the water I went & got their suits out of the car. They are true Northwest girls- playing at the beach in cold weather and thinking it's fabulous! 
Kevin & I took Lauren to see Toy Story 3 tonight! She was so excited to see the movie and thought it was pretty cool that Benny didn't get to come.
Yahoo! It's finally here- she's been talking about it for weeks!

After the movie we went to Qudoba, one of our favs! 
Ben was the first kid up on his birthday and got to spend a little time without all the crazy girls!
He had fun playing with his new trains.
And his new shoes- he seems to have a thing for shoes!
In the evening we went to Ryan & Megan's and sang to him. He loved it!
Love this cute 2 year old face! We really can't believe that he is 2 years old- I know everyone says it, but it is so true- time is flying by! Ben is the sweetest, cutest, cuddliest, funniest, & most loveable little boy we know and we feel pretty darn lucky that he belongs to us! 
The kids had fun just hanging out and playing. They hadn't seen eachother in a year but it seemed like yesterday!
Abby seems to have a thing for cars, just like Ben. She loved the train table!
We went shopping and Oma bought the girls new outfits. Chloe & Lauren had fun doing some modeling when we got home! (Lauren created this outfit on her own, we didn't actually buy it together!).
Ben got some bubbles from Wyatt & they were a major hit with all the kids. Ben stayed outside for about 30 minutes by himself just making bubbles. He was so cute to watch!
Oma read all the girls bed time stories. I love how Abby looks like she is in total suspense of what is going to happen! 
For Ben's 2nd birthday party we had a few of his friends over to bike around the neighborhood park. He still can't ride his bike alone but he loved Uncle Ryan pulling him around on it!
