We tagged along with Kevin on a business trip to Portland (or Cortaland as Lauren calls it). We swam most of the time so I don't have any pics, but here is a shot of Lauren having fun in the closet!

I thought she looked like such a big girl asleep in the car. Maybe it's her big girl running shoes. She is so excited to wear them to "run at high school" one of her latest favorite activities!

Lauren always wants to hold Ben. The other day while holding him she said, "I feed Ben" and lifted up her shirt. It was hilarious!

Lauren put this little get up together last night- it was her second "creative" outfit of the day. I'm thinking she might be a good contestant on Project Runway since she can make anything cute:)
Mr. Ben is one month old today! When he's not sleeping, pooping, or spitting up he enjoys looking at his mama, dada, & big sister and swatting at toys on his activity mat. Ahh... what a life:)
We met Nana and Pa on the boat Saturday night for a little bbq. Ben was so calm and well behaved the whole time!
Lauren enjoyed drinking out the plastic wine glasses...oh boy... probably a habit we should not have started!

I've been trying to sneak exercise time in whenever I get a chance because I'm quite eager to say so long to the baby weight! I thought I'd try to get Lauren to do some Yoga along with me. She did it for about 2 minutes...
It was really cute to try and watch her copy the moves.
This was my favorite! I do downward dog and I look down and there she is, she snuck under me so fast! It was hilarious, she kept saying, "We exercising Mommy". Not sure if anyone is actually getting exercise, but it sure was cute!

We headed downtown to the Seattle Children's Musuem with a bunch of my school friends on Friday. Lauren looked pretty cute sportin' her sunglasses!
We couldn't leave Ben out, he had to try them on as well.

We met up with Casie and Logan for a visit to Kelsey Creek Farm. It is a big park with lots of animals.
Lauren kept looking for the rooster since it was cock a doodle dooing the whole time.
The highlight of her trip however was making this new friend. This girl was about 5 and was quite motherly with Lauren. They were playing house at the playground and Lauren loved it!
She actually became kind of passive and just held this girls hand and followed her around. Not a side I've ever seen of Lauren. They were pretty cute to watch.
On Sunday we headed to St. Edwards Park for a little hike. It wasn't a long one but it was a steep one and Lauren narrated the entire hike for us:) She kept saying, "We going up hill, we going up a steep hill, oh there are stairs daddy, see the stairs, Daddy see the lake, I see the lake daddy"... and on and on and on. The kid has A LOT to say!

Ben is 3 weeks old- time sure flies. The kids decided to celebrate Ben's b-day by being uncooperative! Lauren refused to nap and Ben started being fussy. Here are the 3 of us on the couch at 5pm... everyone is finally asleep... for a few minutes anyway!
Even with no nap she is still the cutest thing. And those eyelashes- mama is very jealous over them!

Can't believe it's been 3 weeks- Ben is such a fun additon to the family. We are really having fun with him!
We went to feed the ducks the other day but look who ate most of the duck food! They were both loving the hamburger buns- silly girls!

She insists on picking out her own jammies and for some odd reason she likes sleeping in socks (must take after Nana!). This is the little ensamble she picked out last night, I couldn't stop laughing!

I've been calling him that (it's from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days- one of my favorite movies) and Lauren has started calling him that as well. Too funny. Anyway, here are some shots of our cute little guy. This one on top is a common face, he always does this with his lips!
