Sleepover!

Lauren & Wyatt had their first sleepover this weekend. Lauren had a ball playing with all of Wyatt's toys and he has A LOT! It was so fun to watch them play together.

Lauren had to try out all of Wyatt's riding toys, the first two were fun but nothing was as good as the 3 rd one...

The POWER WHEEL! She loved it. She rode it all over their house and laughed and laughed. Santa- if you are reading this, Lauren would really like one of these for Christmas :)

She was having so much fun- it was hilarious! Maybe this is a good stepping stone for our trip to AZ where Lauren's 3-wheeler resides. Not sure if mom is ready to let her jump on that yet, but something tells me our little dare devil will think she's ready!

So Sassy

Lauren is now obsessed with her hair clips! When she sees them she screams until she gets one in her hair. Her favorite is the flower but Kevin prefers some of the more subdued ones. Lauren has been quite "spirited" these days and lets all her feelings be known :)

After a Hard Days Work...

Lauren had a terrible day at daycare on Wednesday. So bad in fact, that they called me to come pick her up because she was so cranky! We got home and she went straight for Kevin's beer... The temptation to have a drink after a bad day starts early I guess:)

"I'm a stinker and I know it and I'm going to take full advantage of my skills!"

"Oh, I really want it but I know I shouldn't..."

"Oh what the hell, you only live once!"
(just for anyone who is thinking we are horrible parents, this bottle was empty before she got her hands on it)

"Ahh- Now I'm happy. All I needed was a beer. I think mom needed the hard stuff to get her through this day though. "

Pretty Pretty

Lauren and I started making our clips today. She was happy to model the first two that we made. Doesn't she look so pretty with them in?! Lauren will be modeling our latest styles as soon as we make them :) Stay tuned...

Bath Time!

Hadley and Lauren took their first bath together today and they loved it!

Lauren loves to drink the bath water- it is so gross! Luckily most of it gets spilled since she hasn't yet mastered the art of drinking from a cup!

Finally- A Hair Clip!

I have been wanting to put a clip in Lauren's hair for so long but she just hasn't had enough. Finally, today I got one to stay in for about 30 minutes (hey, it's a start!). I was pretty excited, so now I'm on a mission to make Lauren tons of cute clips, so when she wakes up from her nap we are headed out to buy craft supplies! Yahoo :)

My Friend Haley

We went over to Morgan & Heather's for dinner and Lauren & Haley had a ball playing together. Here they are enjoying their dinner date.

Heather pulled out one of Haley's hats (if you've looked at Haley's blog lately you know how much she enjoys them) to show us.

Lauren was quite jealous and wanted to wear the hat herself.

Somehow Lauren won this battle and got to wear the hat.

Luckily Heather buys more than one of everything :) and Haley has many hats! So she got to wear a different one!

Oh the Places She'll Play

Lauren seems to be surprised at how much she weighs, maybe this is the reason she has refused to drink milk that past few days, trying to cut some calories? :)

Sensory Garden

Lauren & I went to the Sensory Garden today at Redmond Town Center. She Loooooooved it!

She crawled in and out of this over and over...

She explored her sense of touch and taste by feeling the fencing with her tongue!

This is a really cool Rain Maker that drips water- it's so cool!

Another new place to play

Lauren has realized it is quite fun to sit in what used to be our wine rack (that was before Lauren could move around and remove all the bottles for us). She loves trying to get in small places then just hangs there... too funny!

Monkey See Monkey Do

Henry & Lauren had quite a fun time following each other through the coffee table. It was quite entertaining to watch!

First Day at Daycare!

Lauren LOVED her first day at daycare. Mommy was the one that had a hard time. I finally understand all those kindergarten moms who sit outside and cry when they drop their kids off.
Luckily, Lauren is social and made lots of new friends. Her favorite was a little girl named Chloe (18 months). Apparently their pack and plays were in the same room during nap time and they spent the first 20 minutes of nap time "chatting" with each other.
