A visit with family wouldn't be complete without a cousin line up on the couch. Of course it was impossible to get a good one. Love Lauren's cheeseball smile that she's been doing lately. Hads knows how to pose. I think that super model thing might really be in her future (see Hadley's blog).
Love this one of Ben and Taylor. My wierdo on the end never really did cooperate. Oh well, she gets an A for orginality!
We went to the Children's Museum and had a little picnic out by the fountain. Ben and Taylor had fun with the funny mirrors and the aquarium. Sweet Miss Taylor!
My little Benny:)
Lauren was the fanciest girl at the Children's Museum. She went from wearing one of her ridiculous "big shirts" to this dress and her pretty sandals! Who knows where this kid gets her ideas for fashion but I'll take this over a big shirt any day!
And as always, Hadley was the best dressed girl in the place with her denim skirt and Lucky hoodie. I hope to dress as cool as Hads one of these days!
After a walk around Greenlake we headed to REI to meet Kevin and Ryan for lunch. Ben was crying and Taylor reached over and held his hand. It did the trick, he stopped crying! Can't get enough of these two together!
Now that Ben can crawl he was feeling pretty cool at the play area. Taylor was good peer pressure for him. She's 6 weeks younger but has been on the move for months!
So excited that he can crawl through the tent!
Exploring.
Hey look at me, I got in here all by myself!
A little canoe ride
Lauren showing the babies how it's done.
Taylor wishing she was a big girl so she could go in the tree house with Lauren. At the rate Taylor picks up things, she'll be running through that tree house with Lauren next month. This little gal is a mover and a shaker and seriously the BEST baby I've ever come across in my life. I think I only heard her cry once in 5 days and it was for like 5 seconds. She is always smiling.
Lauren supervising Ben and Taylor on their boat ride.
On Sunday Stef and Greg ventured down to Pikes Place and we hung out and did some yard work. I mean Kevin did yard work and we played:) I couldn't resist a picture of the ruffled tooshie! Enjoying a cold one in the sun!
We loved the sneak peak of summer- come back soon!
Stef, Greg, & Taylor came up from Vegas for a visit and they brought the sunshine with them! We had lunch on the boat with Nana and Pa and it was beautiful. Lauren braved the dingy but not without tears. Ben doing his best Angelina Jolie impression:) Sometimes his lips are so plump!
Ben and Taylor- the cutest little duo around! They were having fun at the sliding glass door.
We couldn't get enough of these two. Taylor is to die for cute and has a personality to match. Her and Benny were the best of buds.
Coming back from the dingy ride, and no more tears! Such a brave girl to give it a try...like she had a choice!
Taylor with Nana.
Both babies were out within seconds of getting in the car.
I had a whole day to myself over spring break and I had the best time organzing all my crafting supplies. It was probably one of the geekiest ways to spend a day but I was in heaven. I even went and bought a label maker to make it extra organized. I'm still giddy over it! Can't wait to actually do something with all this fun stuff now... I need another day to myself!
Avery came over to play and Lauren wanted to show him the Bee Movie. As they were watching he tried to put his arm around her! She looked at him and said, "Avery, I do not want you to touch me!" He tried again and she reminded him of what she said! The two of them talking about it. Gretchen and I were quite entertained.
Lauren and I made a little bee costume today. Her party is going to have a Bee theme and we needed a pic for the invite. We aren't using any of these so it's okay to post them:)
For just using a $5 shirt from target and some electrical tape I thought she looked pretty cute!
